Tyler Garnham Photographic Safari

News From HQ | 04 March 2013

Whilst I was in Vancouver I had the opportunity to catch up with my friend Tyler Garnham who is a professional photographer and also works as a rafting and expedition guide in northern British Columbia and Alaska. Tyler also has a lot of experience in Africa, having done several safaris in Botswana and Zimbabwe. He also worked on the Zambezi river for a year as a ‘river rat’ (rafting guide) and photographer. Using my cunning negotiation skills I managed to convince Tyler that the time had come for him to return to Africa and because he was unable to resist my powers of persuasion he’s in!

We are very pleased to announce that Tyler will be leading a photographic workshop safari for Letaka Safaris in April 2014, the safari will be run along the lines of our standard Northern Highlights itinerary with an additional day tagged on in Chobe National Park to capitalise on the photographic opportunities which the Chobe River affords. We are very excited to work with Tyler, his photography is exceptional and he will bring a great deal of experience and expertise to the safari which is ideally suited for anyone that wants to improve their photographic skills. Because of his guiding experience he is able to impart his vast photographic knowledge in an easy and informal manner and I know that everyone will get a great deal out of this safari. To see some more examples of Tyler’s work you can visit his website at www.tylergarnham.com.

The safari will depart Maun on 05 April 2014 and end in Kasane on 15 April 2014 with the option to extend your safari to stay in Victoria Falls or Hwange National Park. The safari will take a maximum of six passengers, the cost of the safari is USD4770.00 which is fully inclusive from Maun to Kasane but excludes international airfares.
