Chobe River, Kasane

The Chobe River is born from the Cuando river that flows through Angola and Namibia’s Caprivi Strip and into the Linyanti Swamp on the northern border of Botswana.

Below the swamp, the river is called the Linyanti River and, farther east, this is where it is called the Chobe River, before it flows into the Zambezi River.

You can cross the Chobe river and bounce between 4 different countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
